The Maso Bergamini estate and vineyards are located upon the hills north of Trento, amongst rolling terraces that are planted with our vines, gently sloping down to the town in the valley.
Our estate-grown grapes are vinified by the owner of our winery, oenologist Remo Tomasi.
Originally Maso Bergamini, an ancient villa (Maso) dating from the 17th century, was built for the Archbishop of Trento and has as part of the building a small chapel. In the cellars beneath this ancient villa all of the Maso Berganimi’s wines are produced with love and care, and created only from their own harvested grapes.
Maso Bergamini is a certified organic wine producer.

METHOD AND FILOSOFY APPLIED IN THE VINEYARD
No phytosanitary crop protection is applied to the Maso Bergamini vineyards: fungal pathogens are treated with mine sulphur and copper microdoses exclusively.
Weed is contained with inter-row mowing and harrowing operations, which do not require the use of herbicides. Their fertilizing system is strictly natural, based on organic matter such as manure, rather than chemicals.
METHOD AND FILOSOFY APPLIED DURING THE WINE MAKING PROCESS
Vinification is obtained from spontaneous fermentation only and results from processes aimed at guaranteeing the highest level of purity of the Maso Bergamini product. Their formula is synonym of genuineness, as their wines are free of phytosanitary residues and allergens of animal origin.
Following a careful inspection by the ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification), which included analysis of leaves, grapes and bottled wine, the Maso Bergamini’s entire production process has been granted the ICEA-Bologna certification of conformity.
